As you may know, Theresa and I are desiring to leave for Mannheim, Germany to fulfill our calling to plant a church in that city.  We have been desiring to begin this sojourn since January of 2000.  Many projects have needed to be completed before we could move from Los Angeles such as the transferring of our business, the completion of our house remodeling, and the selling of the house.  We have completed the first two objectives and now are waiting for the sale of the house.

In March we were accepted as career missionaries by Global Outreach Mission of Buffalo, NY.  I just returned from Buffalo where I attended the mission’s North American Conference in Olcott, NY.  There I had the opportunity to meet the President of the mission, the Executive Vice President and the Comptroller as well as many new missionaries and representatives.  I was able to better understand the direction of the mission and the heart they have for the world.  I am grateful for the opportunity to work with them to accomplish my calling to Mannheim.

In our conversations with the Comptroller, we have been able to determine our monthly budget based on the cost of living in Mannheim and the many spurious expenses germane to mission life.  Our need of $5,500 per month will allow us to cover all of the expenses we will have.  We hope you will be able and willing to help meet our budget.
